1. Medium strength test

Dielectric strength refers to the voltage at which the insulating material of wires and cables breaks down under the action of a certain electric field. Insulation strength test is one of the important methods for inspecting the insulation performance of wire and cable insulation materials. This test is conducted on insulating materials under specific conditions, such as low temperature, high temperature, and humid environments. During the experiment, the sample is placed between the plates, a certain voltage is applied, and the changes in current and whether the sample breaks down are observed to determine its dielectric strength value.

2. Conductivity test

The electrical conductivity test is a method for testing the electrical conductivity of wire and cable sheath materials. Conductivity testing usually employs the four-point method or the direct current bridge method. During the experiment, the sample is clamped between two electrodes, a certain voltage is applied to measure the resistance value, and the specific conductivity value is calculated. The smaller the conductivity value, the greater the resistance of the conductor and the better the insulation performance.

3. Insulation resistance test

The insulation resistance test is the measurement of the insulation resistance value of the insulation materials of wires and cables. During the experiment, the sample is placed between the plates, a direct current voltage is applied, and the resistance value is measured at specific time intervals to determine the insulation performance of the insulating material. Usually, when conducting insulation resistance tests, other factors such as high temperature, low temperature and humidity also need to be tested.

4. Heat resistance test

Heat resistance tests are used to examine the durability of wire and cable materials in high-temperature environments. During the experiment, the samples are placed in a high-temperature chamber and tested under specific temperature and time conditions to observe whether there are any phenomena such as coking, cracking, discoloration or deformation. Through this experiment, the durability performance of wire and cable materials under high-temperature conditions can be determined, avoiding material aging or performance decline in actual application scenarios.

5. Cold resistance test

Cold resistance tests are used to assess the durability of wire and cable materials in low-temperature environments. During the experiment, the samples are placed in a low-temperature environment and tested under specific temperature and time conditions to observe whether there are any signs of deterioration, cracking, deformation, etc. on the samples. Through this experiment, the durability performance of wire and cable materials under low-temperature conditions can be determined, avoiding problems such as aging and fracture of wire and cable materials in actual application environments.
